Sydney

I have an immense passion for the hobby of photography, in which I only really enjoy when doing it for the love of it and at my own time under my own terms. When money, assessment and pressure is involved, I seem to lose the passion and freedom I put into it.
Balance and happiness has become a priority and photography as a hobby is something I'm completely, definitely, 100% content with. As to if this will change in the future, I don't know.

Anyway, since deciding this I've been able to get back to basics with my photos. Last week I spent 5 days in Sydney. I was born there and have family/close friends that live there, so visiting is always something I look forward to. I also got to hang out with my favourite Germans who are visiting and adventuring around our Australian cities.
This was the first time in a long time that I've felt really calm photographing. I took snaps of whatever pleased or interested me, and edited them through Photoshop CS5 to whatever extent I felt.
This series from Sydney probably seems really different to most of the work you've seen before. These photos were taken under a whole different sense of my own emotions and impulses, and so the outcome is a lot more free and less timid than my past results.
And I'm totally okay with that.

Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Comments and feedback is always important and intriguing. Thanks!
