Nickas In Paris

I've got a few more days before my sister arrives here in Paris… I've spent the last day of so doing small things like taking walks, eating croissants and visiting every pet store I can find (so many pet bunnies and pugs for sale… my heart is sold).

I'm still trying to get over a cold that has been with me since I left Brisbane and I'm feeling a bit lost and lonely, so having a few days to sit back and indulge in my favourite past time of editing pictures is becoming comforting. I think Paris is the most beautiful city, but it doesn't feel homely at all. I miss the English speaking humans and I don't think I've been sarcastic in nearly a week… and it's killing me slowly. The culture is a turn around, that's for sure.

Nickas, Sam and I spent our second full day in Paris (and their last) adventuring through the Catacombs which were beyond incredible. Creepy and surreal but such an amazing historical landmark and so educational. A high recommendation! We then walked pretty much everywhere and ended the day buying a weird salad arrangement from a supermarket and eating dinner at home with some 4 euro Rosé wine (It tasted terrible… I'm going to have to work on that… and by 'work on that', I mean just keep buying and trying and buying and trying more and more wine. Not complaining).

But as usual, going on walks and taking pictures of every day sites that these Paris locals see and coming home to edit and upload them here outweighs the seedy Paris men and lonely traveller feelings… so here's another big bunch I've taken. Enjoy!
