So organised, so neat, so symmetrical and so many brilliant metro lines… oh
and
so
many
stairs.
We visited The Louvre today and saw so many brilliant pieces of art. Particularly loved the ancient Greek statues and art. Of course the Mona Lisa as well, but it felt like when you see something so many times it loses it's magic and I was underwhelmed by it.
We then visited the Arc De Triomph and played chicken running across the ridiculous round-a-bout that circles the Arc… if you've been to Paris you'll know exactly what I'm talking about and also why we walked through the underground on the way back instead of attempting to run through the traffic again.
We climbed about a million stairs to the top but were greeted by the most beautiful view of Paris and was so worth it.
Theeeen we finished the day by visiting Ladurée (heaven) and bought the tastiest macarons in all of the land. Too good.
